Andrew S. Bailey, LCSWFounder and Clinical DirectorI've had my Master's of Social Work for over 15 years, working in mental health basically the entire time. I've worked in every level of care, inpatient to outpatient. No diagnosis scares me - I've really seen just about everything there is to see. I specialize in CBT and Exposure Therapy (ERP). I'm also quite skilled with Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Behavioral Activation (BA), and Motivational Interviewing. I taught at Loyola University's Carthage location as an adjunct professor teaching the above therapies to the next generation of therapists, and have presented at professional conferences on ethics and meditation.
Like most people, I've struggled with my own issues, as have some members of my family. However, through hard work and development of skills, I've learned to deal with these things, and so can you. I love video games, gardening, cooking, woodworking, and talking about philosophy and life more broadly. I've always been a bit of a geek. And yes, of course I made this web-page myself. Whatever it is you're looking for, I've got the experience to help you out. I love getting to know people and helping them to work through problems. This is why I chose this profession. Why not reach out and let me know what questions you have? I'd be happy to answer them. |
David Jacobi, Ph.DClinical Psychologist
Hello! I’ve dedicated the past 38 years to helping those dealing with a variety of concerns including OCD, anxiety disorders, and related conditions like skin picking, hair pulling, and hoarding. I also work with individuals struggling with depressive disorders. I’m a faculty member of the International Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Foundation (IOCDF) Behavioral Therapy Training Institute, where I help to train licensed clinicians in the treatment of OCD.
I approach mental health concerns from a Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) perspective. For anxiety this involves challenging negative thoughts and gradually exposing individuals to the feared triggers of their anxiety. For those dealing with depression, I focus on an intervention called behavioral activation. Before joining WADC, I was a clinical director and supervisor at Roger’s Behavior Health. I oversaw the clinical quality of adolescent and child OCD/anxiety residential programs, partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) programs. Additionally, I supervised clinicians in both the adolescent and adult intensive depression programs. I enjoy using humor to ease stressful situations and have a laid-back demeanor. I use a collaborative approach that emphasizes the strengths of both clinician and client. Regardless of your motivation for seeking treatment, homework is an essential part of the process. This can involve monitoring a specific behavior, completing daily exposure and behavioral activation exercises, or other tasks. Completing daily treatment assignments is positively related to treatment outcomes. I look forward to working with you. |
Tehya Wright, LPC-ITMental Health TherapistHi there! I am Tehya Wright, and I am thrilled to be working here at WADC! I have always been one to hear out others while supporting them through difficult experiences, which has landed me a career in counseling services.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Caroll University and a Master's from the University of the Cumberlands in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have been working in the Mental Health Field since 2021 and have experience treating Depression, Anxiety, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and Mood Disorders. I have worked in the residential setting with children, adolescents, young adults, and older adults. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), and Behavioral Activation techniques. I have recently discovered my green thumb and have been thoroughly enjoying my wildflower patch and dabbling in growing fruits and vegetables. I have grown a single pea and strawberry sprouts so far. I am entirely a warm-weather person, during spring through fall, you can find me hiking, camping, boating, and enjoying a good mystery novel while relaxing in my hammock. When winter rolls around, I’ll be nice and cozy inside with my two cats and hot chocolate. I look forward to this experience with you all and value being part of your journey. |

Alana Scheifen, BSCounseling InternHi, I’m Alana. Therapy is a place for the hard and uncomfortable, and also for lightness and laughter. You’ll notice my smile and laugh show up often. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and validated, while we also find small moments of relief along the way.
I’ve worked in mental health since 2022, starting in residential treatment with adolescents and young adults. I’ve supported clients with anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, borderline personality disorder, eating disorders, and substance use. I hold an associate’s degree in Human Services from WCTC, obtained my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Lakeland University, and I’m currently completing my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of the Cumberlands. In session, I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Behavioral Activation. Becoming a therapist has been my dream since I was 14. Listening, connecting, and problem-solving come naturally to me, and my own experiences with mental health strengthen my belief that growth and healing are possible. I feel honored to walk alongside clients as they build skills and move toward what matters. Outside the therapy room, I’m an artist at heart, often with paint on my hands. I love baking, hiking, and thrifting for little treasures. I try to find something to be grateful for every day, and I bring that practice into my work. I’m excited to be part of your journey and grateful for the chance to walk alongside you. |
