Tabletop Roleplaying Group Therapy
We know therapy can feel intimidating. Sitting in a circle and talking about feelings isn’t everyone's cup of tea. Some people don’t want to think of themselves as “in therapy” at all. That’s why we’re trying something different.
Our new Dungeons & Dragons therapy group uses tabletop role‑playing games (TTRPGs) to help people practice therapeutic skills in a way that feels fun and natural. You’ll be part of a story, working with others to solve problems, face challenges, and build confidence along the way.
Sessions run on weekday evenings and last about an hour. The exact schedule depends on the group and therapist availability. Each game is guided by a highly-experienced Therapeutic Dungeon Master who keeps things moving, offers feedback, and helps connect what happens in the adventure to real‑life skills.
This group is designed for people who want to get better at social connections. Folks dealing with social anxiety, ADHD, mild autism spectrum disorder, or depression often find it especially helpful. But you don’t need a specific diagnosis — if you struggle with relationships or communication, you’re welcome at our table.
No D&D experience is required. Beginners can jump right in, and experienced players are welcome to bring their dice. We’ll match participants with groups based on age and maturity so everyone feels comfortable.
Cost is $50 per session if you’re paying privately, and insurance may cover it if you have it.
So if you're ready for an adventure that will change your life (for the better) gather your gear, roll initiative, and join our quest today!
